Nearly complete App collection
In the short two weeks I've had the Foleo I have managed to compile nearly every available app. This is also the first 'real-time' post. The previous posts were all written about the status well after the fact.

I've read that the Logmein app was unstable. Curious how if I try and log into that site using the Web Browser it automatically crashes. I bet they've disabled that site in the browser's code and if my linux knowledge was better I might be able to address that issue.
A 4GB Sandisk CF card now runs as the internal memory. A 8GB microSD with SD adapter is secondary storage. I can run both an SD card and a USB flash drive at the same time.
I have yet to try a USB mouse.
Next post will discus my numerous games I've managed to place on the Foleo.

A few thoughts
I started this blog a few days after I had already obtained my Foleo. Since my last postings I have figured out a few things. I can do screenshots by holding Alt, Shift and 3. The screenshot is saved on the internal memory and easily read using the Photo Viewer.
I found an easter egg left by one of the developers.
I can use an 8GB micro SD card (with adapter) with the Foleo.
I can use my Card Reader app on my Palm OS Treo 680 to view the SD card in my treo by way of a cable connected to the USB port.
I probably will not be able to get the email app to talk to the Treo 680.
I did get the internet Bluetooth connection to go through the Treo without problems.
Both WiFi and Bluetooth DUN connections provide respectable speeds.
The quickness of launching apps is far and above better than any device I have ever used. Quicker than a brand new PC, Linuxbox or Mac. Quicker than my old iPhone, my Treo 680 or my wife's Pre.

First day 'On the job'
I brought the Foleo into work today (Tuesday May 18th). It was not noticed as I walked into the building. I'm known as a 'gadget' guy so normally someone asks me about my new 'toy'.
I loaded up a few word and pdf files that I knew I would need for a later meeting.
I left and drove the 30 minutes to the meeting.
I was able to follow along with the documents and easily switch back and forth to a word file I was using as a notepad. I can typer rather quickly and the feel of the Foleo's keyboard makes it effortless and reletively quiet.
I answered a few questions about the Foleo and demonstrated its instant on and off capability.
In my spare time I've been trying to track down whatever apps I can for the Foleo. TealPoint made quite a few programs and most were available on their website.
With some fenagling I was able to download them all.
Installation was a breeze - just click on the .hxp file using the File Manager app.
I installed all the Teal apps except Soduku since I already have the Astraware version.
The TealPoint programs:
Short Circuit is a twist on Tetris and is a good time waster.
TealBackup is a very simple looking backup program. I did a backup or two but have yet to restore a backup yet.
TealDiet is a nutritional diet tracking program. Have yet to mess with.
TealDoc is a document reader but is limited to simple txt files and most of my .pdb ebook files.
TealMover is a file mover. I don't know how handy this will be since the File Manager is capable of copying files.
TealPaint looks to be a very capable program but I have yet to mess with it too much.
TealSafe is a password protected database program. I entered a few items. Security seems pretty good.
TealTracker is designed for documenting time and money spent on work or projects. I don't know how much use I will have for that app.
I may do an in-depth review of each TealPoint program in the future.

My Foleo Arrives!
Foleo Day 1
Got a call from the wife saying the UPS guy just stopped by with a package. I comp'd out the last 45 minutes of work and left early. The server was down at work so I could'd get much done anyway. Besides the fact that my mind was racing thinking about how the foleo finallly came in.
I get home, and sure enough... a box from the city the seller was from. It was it. I opened the box and saw lots of large bubble wrap and packing peanuts. I quickly cut the bubble wrap and there it was...
My beautiful Foleo.
I opened it, and immediately turned it on.
As quick and beautiful as I had imagined.
I turned it on. It had a decent charge still.
All my newer research over the past week or so had gotten me familiar with where all the buttons were and how to use the device.
Apps button - need to check what programs I have.
Both Astraware games on the device. That is a plus.
Drat! No mDayscape and its wonderful PIMs.
Only standard Foleo programs other than the Astraware.
Oh well, that will soon be remedied! I already downloaded all the TealPoint apps off their website. I do mean all- two or three are harder to download- the links are off a little.
I quickly load all those up. Fairly easy by using the File Manager app and just clicking on the arm.hxp file for each Teal app.
I then peruse the PDF viewer and Docs to Go apps. All seem to work without any issues.
I cannot believe how quick this thing is.
One touch and its on. Apps key and another 'shortcut' key and you are on the web or editing a file. My Treo 680 is not near this fast. Nor is my wife's Palm Pre or the iPhone I had for two weeks before selling.
